This individual must possess high-level tax knowledge for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely held corporations, estate, gift tax returns and tax laws. The position requires research, management and training skills, as well as a thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems. Knowledge of CCH Axcess is a plus. Proficiency is required in Microsoft Office and the willingness to learn other business-related software, in which training will be provided. The duties of this role would include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Researching tax issues and legislation to help develop effective tax planning strategies.
• Communicating complex tax issues to colleagues and non-tax professionals with the potential for client-facing opportunities.
• Completion and review of tax returns for high-net worth individuals including Form 1040, 1041, flow-through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLC's.)
• Managing, coaching and developing members of internal advisor teams by reviewing work and providing training, as well as assisting IT staff with technical matters relating to tax applications.Any experience and advanced knowledge in the area of finance, financial planning and investments is an advantage. A successfulTax Managerwill need the skills to work effectively on a team in a leadership role, as well as independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement. This position reports directly to the Senior Tax Manager and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after initial training period.
